a jazzy night out in town

Sitting down in Siem Reap's favourite French hangout place, the Laundry Bar- where people are chatting in French, drinking wine and eating cheese; the "Brazen" Dimetrio with Some Tesla Power were playing their funky electric music mixed with psychedelic revolution and jazz rock in the middle of monsoon weather of Cambodia.
Their music was catchy and dance-inducing, as they play through the rainy night. Everyone was moving the music with a glass of wine in their hands- only moving to beer by the end of the night.
Second gig was also a rainy evening; sitting down in the middle of the packed Republic in Siem Reap. It was a mixed crowd of families and young adults with beer and billiard. The atmosphere was calmingly lit with the sound of the pouring rain, causing my images to be gritty in the dimness.
As my hunger closes in on the night, I put down my camera and decided to just enjoy the evening and danced with the crowd. Their music is very exciting, we all cannot stop ourselves from moving.
“One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.” ― Bob Marley
